These General Terms and Conditions for the events within the framework of the Euromeeting from 13-15 September 2024, organized by Round Table 216 Wiesmoor-Großefehn, (hereinafter: "we", "us", "organizer") apply to the purchase of tickets and the attendance of the events organized by us alone or together with local organizers ("event"). The house rules of the respective event venues apply. By purchasing and holding a ticket to an Event, the applicability of these GTC is accepted.
GENERAL TERMS
1. purchase of tickets and additional services
Tickets for our events can also be purchased via sales partners (e.g. https://www.idloom.com).
Tickets and additional services (e.g. supporting program) can only be purchased online via the organizer's website www.rt-216.de. Tickets will only be sold until the maximum quota has been reached. The organizer reserves the right to limit the maximum number of tickets per person.
Payment for the purchased tickets and additional services is made directly at the time of purchase, or alternatively by prepayment. The tickets are sold via our sales partners subject to retention of title, i.e. the tickets remain the property of the organizer until the ticket purchase price has been paid in full and until then do not entitle the holder to enter the booked event.
As the purchase of the tickets is a service in the area of leisure events, i.e. for events, there is no distance selling contract in accordance with Section 312 (2) No. 9 BGB. This means that there is no two-week right of withdrawal or return. Each order of tickets is therefore binding immediately after confirmation by the respective sales partner and obliges the customer to accept and pay for the tickets.
2. access authorizations
Children under the age of 18 may only attend the event if accompanied by a person with parental authority. As a rule, parents are entitled to custody, but not persons with parental authority (e.g. an older friend). The statutory provisions of the German Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) apply.
3. Liability of the organizer
The liability of the organizer for damages of any kind is excluded. This exclusion does not apply to damages caused by the organizer intentionally or through gross negligence, in cases of (simple) negligence on the part of the organizer for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, as well as for the simple negligent breach of essential contractual obligations by the organizer. Essential contractual obligations are all obligations whose fulfillment is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the visitor regularly relies and may rely.
In cases of simple negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, the liability of the organizer - with the exception of damage to life, body or health - is limited to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable for the organizer at the time of conclusion of the contract or commission of the breach of duty. In this respect, the liability of the organizer for damages that are exclusively attributable to the visitor's sphere of risk is excluded.
The above exclusions and limitations of liability also apply to the liability of the organizer for its organs, employees and vicarious agents as well as the personal liability of the organs, employees and vicarious agents of the organizer.
The organizer is not liable for third-party services (e.g. catering services) and any resulting damages, but the respective service provider itself.
4. resale
The tickets are personalized and only entitle the respective ticket holder to attend the organizer's events. If a participant is unable to attend, the tickets can be canceled under the cancellation conditions set out in paragraph 6.
In due course, it will also be possible to re-personalize tickets; this will be announced on the organizer's homepage.
5. Cancellation
If the registered participant is unable to attend the event, the participant has the opportunity to nominate a replacement person for participation in writing or by e-mail by .
After purchasing the ticket, in addition to the statutory right of return, each participant has the option of canceling the event under the following conditions if there is a valid reason for doing so. Cancellation is no longer possible after these deadlines have expired.
Up to 12 weeks before the event - refund of 20% of the purchase price
From 8 weeks before the AGM there will be no refund.
Requests for rebooking should be sent to numbersmeeting@216-de.roundtable.world.
6. Entering and leaving individual areas
All venues can only be entered with a valid ticket. Guests only have access to the areas of the venues designated as such.
7. security checks
Depending on the security requirements of the event venues, it may be prohibited to bring your own drinks or other items. The organizer may commission security personnel to carry out security checks to ensure compliance with the regulations.
8 Consent to the production and use of sound and image recordings
We may film, live-stream and photograph the event and make audio and audiovisual recordings of it. This may include the audience. By entering the events, the visitor irrevocably consents to the free use of his/her image and voice for photographs, live broadcasts, broadcasts and/or recordings of image and/or sound recordings made by the organizer, its agents or other third parties in connection with the event, as well as their subsequent exploitation in all present and future media (such as in particular in the form of audio and video recordings and digital distribution, e.g. via the Internet). This means in particular that the visitor grants the organizer and its third-party contractual partners/licensees the right, unlimited in terms of time, place and content, to record images, voice, actions and/or statements of the visitor in any form without the visitor's separate consent and to reproduce, broadcast, make publicly accessible and/or distribute them in any other form in media of its choice for any commercial and non-commercial purposes.
9 Exclusion of visitors
If visitors violate these General Event Guidelines or the statutes of Round Table Germany or Old Tablers Germany, the organizer may exercise its domiciliary rights and ban them from the entire event. The tickets lose their validity when the ban is issued.
10. handling of the admission ticket
Before entering the event for the first time, the guest will receive a registration identification (e.g. lanyard with name badge). This identification and the tickets must be carried during the entire event. In the event of loss, the organizer shall not be entitled to compensation.
11 Cancellation / postponement / program changes
An event may be canceled. Before starting your journey, you should check our website to find out whether the event will take place as planned.
Program changes may occur at the events. The organizer will make every effort to find a suitable replacement. Visitors are not entitled to any claims.
Our liability in the event of cancellation, interruption, postponement or other significant changes to the event is limited to reimbursement of the face value of the ticket. Personal arrangements made by the ticket holder, including travel and accommodation in connection with the event, are made at the ticket holder's own expense and risk. In such cases, we are not liable beyond the reimbursement of the face value of the ticket, in particular for expenses incurred. For this limitation of liability, the restrictions set out in section 3 apply accordingly. A significant change is deemed to exist if a change occurs that makes the event a significantly different event than a ticket purchaser may reasonably expect.
If the event is canceled, interrupted or postponed due to circumstances for which the organizer is not responsible (e.g. force majeure, restrictions due to Covid-19), the visitor's right to withdraw from the contract is excluded, subject to the following provisions. In the event of cancellation or interruption, the organizer will reschedule the event as far and as soon as possible and reasonable. If the event is postponed or - in the event of cancellation or abandonment - rescheduled, the tickets for the event remain valid.
12. final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Should individual provisions of this contract be invalid or lose their validity due to circumstances occurring at a later date, the validity of the remainder of the contract shall remain unaffected. The invalid contractual provisions shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to what the contracting parties would have wanted if they had considered the point in question. The same applies to loopholes in this contract.
The place of performance is the registered office of the organizer.
